Little Women The March Sisters Dani Jones Books Reviews
I've been following Dani's progress on Little Women since she first announced her kickstarter. I am so glad that the first part of her adaptation is available!
The story is as close an adaptation as I can remember. (I'll admit it's been a long time since I read the original novel.) The scenes are depicted very well and seeing character's expressions is a treat. Each character is given attention and they pop from the page.
Dani's artwork is such a treat, light and whimsical with a traditional quality that is rarely seen in graphic novels. Even if you're not familiar with or don't like the story, you should experience this based off of art alone. This would be the perfect book for any young person (in age or young at heart) or those who enjoy classic literature.
(I didn't purchase my copy from , but bought my copy directly from the artist as soon as she announced it. I'm showing off the gorgeous sketches she drew inside my copy.)
A wonderful book filled with beautiful images. Highly recommended!
